Excluding user from project

I have a project where a highly active user is submitting observations from other places than where the project area is. Is there a way exclude these observations, or exclude the user from submitting observations - and also exclude the observations already submitted!

Yes, there is.

Edit project > Observation Requirements > Exclusion Filters > Exclude Users (write the username here)

You could also include a specific place (also in Observation Requirements)

It sounds like you’re talking about a traditional project. I don’t think there’s a way to bulk remove observations that fail to meet new requirements, but I believe you can review and remove observations that don’t.

You can also add the specific users you want to be included in the project so that other users can’t join in the future

I assume you’ve already thanked the user for being so enthusiastic and asked if they’d make sure their observations all fit the project guidelines?
