Failure to update community ID when subspecies identified

Description of problem:
one ID to genus
one ID to subspecies, confirming genus
should report subspecies as current consensus ID, instead reports genus.

Basically, subspecies IDs don’t function the same as other IDs for some reason, which is very annoying but not technically a “bug”.
