Description of need:
The DQA changes verifiable observations to casual grade for explicitly specific reasons, acknowledging that the reason it’s unverifiable is important. Several projects already exist that use casual grade observations, showing that people do use them. The “quality” of a specific observation is subjective to whatever goal you’re trying to achieve with it, so by allowing collection projects to specify what form of DQ they want to use, they can increase the quality of the project.
Feature request details:
Add a new filter to the “Observation Requirements” page that filters by which DQA categories are checked/unchecked.
