Flagged one photo and the whole observation went casual

I found an observation where the first photo was fine, but the second photo was from an ID app - so was not the user’s own photo. I flagged that photo for copyright, but now the observation is Casual. There are no reasons given in the DQA, so there isn’t anything I can do to make it “Needs ID” again.

Is there anything I can do, or if the user deletes that photo will the observation become Needs ID again?

Is it a garden plant? Is it a Not Wild from the observer (that does not show up as such)?
Could try ticking Wild, if appropriate.

No, not a garden plant. All the DQA looks normal, but Quality Grade is Casual:

It is fixed! The user deleted the second photo and said it was uploaded accidentally.
Fortunately once that photo was gone the observation went back to “Needs ID” and all is OK. Phew!

This is intended behavior - if any media in an observation is flagged for copyright, the observation becomes Casual Grade. If the flagged media is removed, the observation returns to whatever status it otherwise had as happened here.

Just noting that I recently added an FAQ that states this, so it can be referred to on an official iNat page.
