Hi everyone, and Happy New Year from the UAE.

Keen underwater photographer with an obsession with nudibranchs. Stumbled upon this site after being pointed in this direction from a similar minded individual in SoCal.

Happy New Year from Turkey :) Hopefully I’m going to visit your country in a month and observe some reptiles there. Since you’re into underwater photography, do you often see sea turtles and sea snakes there?

Yes frequently see turtles off the east coast in specific places, but not guaranteed on every dive.

Sea snakes are fairly common off Kalba on the east coast

Not 100% sure of the species as apparently there are several here.

Wow, really amazing! I have no experience with sea snakes (yet), so unfortunately I can’t help you to identify this one, because there are at least 10 species of sea snakes in UAE and most of them look similar to my unexperienced eyes :)
