I am trying to create a project in which I manually add observations but I can’t find how to do this (even though I have created projects like that in the past). iNat only gives me two options: collection projects and umbrella projects where I have to specify which taxa I need to include for that project, but that is not important in my project, that is, it does not matter if its a bird, an insect or mammal as long as it has pattern that I’ve noticed in many animals. Help will be welcomed, thanks.

I don’t know why they chose to make this option so hidden, they really need to put it at the top with a big button like the rest. It’s causing some real problems for projects I wanted to join
Collection projects are an elegant way to display filters.
Traditional project is more of a burden on the system, so is slightly discouraged.
