How do I filter for moths in the "Your Observations" tab?

I want to see all my moth observations, but the Butterflies and Moths are at the same taxonomic level. How can I filter for my moth observations? Is there anyway to exclude butterflies? Creating a project is one way, but I don’t want to do that.

When you’re on the ‘Your Observations’ tab (and have searched/filtered for ‘Lepidoptera’) add &without_taxon_id=47224 to the end of the url to exclude Superfamily Papilionoidea (Butterflies).

Alternatively, if you’re on the ‘Species’ tab of ‘Your Observations’ and have already filtered for Lepidoptera, you can go to any butterfly species and click on the little white settings marker at the top-left of the image. This lets you include/exclude taxa from your search–just click the ‘minus’ symbol next to ‘Superfamily Papilionoidea’ and it will exclude all butterflies, same as the url method above.

yes

search for Lepidoptera in your observations, click onto the species tab, click the three white lines top left corner of one of your butterfly thumbnails, and then the ‘-’ for butterflies

I had no idea these three white lines existed! Thanks for pointing out that feature!
