How do I invoke the ML suggestions on existing observations in the web interface

This question pertains to the web interface.

When making identifications on existing observations I would like to invoke the ML suggestions. Its not entirely clear if the ML suggestions are available outside of the suggestions it gives when uploading a new observation.

It seems like Observation > Compare > Visually Similar may be invoking the ML suggestions?

Can someone confirm if Compare > Visually Similar is invoking the ML suggestions?

Are there other ways to invoke ML suggestions outside of the initial upload?

Yes.
Compare - Visually Similar - uses iNat’s Computer Vision.
(Remember to check Distribution if you use CV)

If you are in Identify - click Suggestions - Visually Similar

if you’re on an individual observation, eg https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/257787377, then simply click into the suggest an identification bar, and the ML suggestions will be offered in the exact same way as in the upload screen
