What is the process to get new species added to iNat?

Observation for Taraxacum cordilleranum in BC, Canada. Provide citation to paper that describes the species. Photo identification confirmed by the paper’s author.

As an aside: It drives me crazy that an important paper like the new Taraxacum research you link to in the observation is only available for an exorbitant fee ($40 for a 17-page article) to non-subscribers or those lacking institutional connections. This precludes its wider dispersal to the general scientific and citizen science community.
