How to "follow" an observation (on the website)?

How to “follow” an observation (on the website)? I don’t see (if it’s there??) a “Follow” button on this screen…

If you “fave” an observation, you will receive updates on it. The option is in blue just below the mapping for an observation on the website.

Not sure why you don’t have this option in your screenshot.

Try disabling your extensions / using a private browsing window. Sometimes certain extensions block features of the iNat website.

I usually just insert a “following” comment. That will get me notiications whenever anyone adds something. If you think that sounds rude, any enthusiastic comment will do the same.

If there are already IDs on the obs, all those identifiers will be notified ‘following’

I follow, and unfollow obs as it suits me.

I can see you have faved that obs - and that will notify you of any activity.
Also tells the observer that you like their obs.

When I’m using the “identify” feature, there’s a button for “follow” (to right of lower edge of map). You can click that and get the option to follow either the observer or the observation.
