How to see entire taxonomic species lists? (also not observed species)

Dear Community,

I would like to see a list of all species of a certain family which iNaturalist recognizes as species.
So far I can only see e.g. 235 out of 280. And if I press “view all” I only see the 235 which have been observed, but I do not see the whole species list of e.g. 280.
Does anyone know how I can see this list? If yes, please let me know.

Thanks and all the best,
Moriz Steiner

Hello @MorizSteiner and welcome to the Forum!

Can you share with us which page you are looking at, and maybe a screenshot?

There is probably a way to get a full list using the API.

Thank you very much for your speedy reply.
Here two screenshots which depict my issue.

https://api.inaturalist.org/v1/taxa?taxon_id=45933&rank=species&per_page=200&page=2

Those two pages together return all 286 species in Sciuridae in the iNat taxonomy.
