I added a new place and the previous observations from that new place aren't populating?

Also, when I search the place on iNaturalist and select “Find location named…” it’s not coming up with anything. Does it usually take a few days for these to load into iNaturalist?

welcome to the forum
it’s not instant, and the bigger the place/more obs in it, generally the longer the delay.

which search bar are you using to try find it; not all searchbars on iNat look for community curated places.

you need to use one of the two circled bars; the one I’ve marked with an X searches in Google Maps

Thank you. I think it was just a matter of waiting for the app to populate them. Everything is working perfectly now!
