#IdentiFriday is the happiest day of the week

We have a spider project for Cape Town with a checklist started.

And it’s Friday again! Amazing how often it comes around again. I will be doing my usual 60-or-so IDs today, but having reached my ID goal for the year already, I’m also going hiking with a friend and hoping to add 50 or more observations today.

And what are you doing today, dear identifiers?

Day job today, observations and uploads tomorrow, so I think Sunday will be a good day to catch up on Cercocarpus trees.

If anyone can help, I would like some help on my latest observations from the Far East, many easier species to confirm. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?d1=2022-05-14&place_id=any&quality_grade=needs_id&user_id=marina_gorbunova&verifiable=any

i see that May 20 is both Endangered Species Day (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?verifiable=true&csi=EN) and World Bee Day (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?verifiable=true&taxon_id=630955).

Good point… Maybe I will pistpone some ArgiopeIDds today and will go for the bees instead :slightly_smiling_face:

BTW, looks like there are a bunch of unknowns coming in from location: “Lafayette High School, Wildwood, MO, US”. Unfortunately, there isn’t a class project or something to find them all in one place.

I was looking at the unknown from user accounts under 3 weeks old & they are dominating the page at the moment.

Mostly bees and wasps and some bats, plants, and other wildlife, most days when I have time.

Friday, I finished going through St. Kitts and Nevis (inspired by @susanhewitt having mentioned that she had recently added a lot of observations there). That was what triggered my thread about Manchineel.
