Description of problem: For the past week or so, while identifying unknown observations, usually to a basic level of plants, dicots, trees, etc., if I select the Suggestions tab, the first suggestion, and usually the first two suggestions are Anoles. Only a few of the many observations have actually been Anoles or related species. Not sure if I’ve selected something somewhere or what is causing it.

Step 1: Select observation to look at

Step 2: Select box with arrow to enlarge photo

Step 3: Select Suggestions

The Source is set to Observations, meaning it’s returning all taxa that have observations in that area, and in Saint John or San Juan, that’s a lot of anoles. If you want taxa that look like the observation photo, you should select Visually Similar, and you can also filter by taxon if you want, e.g. Plants. (As a side note, if you ever see 500 results returned, that means it hit the maximum number and you probably want to check the search filters.)

There is also a third option for Checklist - which can be helpful. But 500 most observed sp is never much use to me.
