I’m trying to create an application on Inaturalist for my new app but it says “In order to submit an application your account must be at least 2 months old and must have made at least 10 improving identifications in the last month.” I do have 31 observations and 34 identifications. What else do I need to do?
Most of your IDs are “supporting” meaning that you followed somebody else’s ID. You want “improving” IDs. The easiest way to do that is to look at the list of new users (https://www.inaturalist.org/users/recent), click on the “welcome” button and add IDs at whatever level you can. Chances are you’ll be the first, and that list of new users never ends.

When I click on that link, I get an “Only curators can access that page” message. Not sure why the new users list wouldn’t be available to regular users, but it’s not.
because this modality is (I assume) designed to allow curators to more easily track and suspend spammers
