General
- iNaturalist Year in Review and Seek Year in Review released! Generate your own Year in Review stats here.
- iNaturalist is featured in the New York Times. (The link should work for non-subscribers)
- Email confirmation introduced. You can confirm your email address by going to your Account Settings. Email addresses must be confirmed by July 1st, 2023, but once you confirm your email address you’ll rid yourself of that annoying banner on the website!
- New Computer Vision model released!
- Continued work on API v2. Curators can test it and provide feedback, see this thread.
- Many additional translations throughout the websites and apps - you can help
