I can’t tell if this is intentional or a bug, but on the page for a user’s observations (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/username), the icons for the iconic taxa don’t always stay in the same order.
I don’t use this page often, so for a while I thought I was going crazy that it took me so long to find the icons I wanted each time. Maybe they’re sorted by something?
I use this page all the time and it is super annoying. Just refresh the page and it will be in a completely different order.
I can’t see any pattern to it. It can’t be sorted by how many observations of each type. I have seen icons for things I don’t have any obs for show up 1st or 2nd.
I’m not sure there was ever a reason for this, but it should be fixed now.
