I’m looking to plot species observations from both Mushroom Observer and iNaturalist. I know that you can import observations from MO to iNat, so is there a canonical way to dedupe these? Obviously you could look for the same species being recorded at the same date and location, but I’m wondering if there is a better way than this.

They should all have the field “Mushroom Observer URL” – though it’s theoretically possible that someone deleted that field after importing. Anyway, this is everything with that field: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?verifiable=any&field:Mushroom%20Observer%20URL

Amazing, thanks! So just to document this in case anyone else needs it, you just add the URL parameter ?extra=fields when using the GET /observations endpont.
