Is there a way to allow another user to view all your identifications on the app?

I might have answered my own question. Would using Following work? I’m a novice and new to this app. I’ve been amazed at how well it comes up with the right answer most of the time. I want to be able to have friends and relatives see what I have done without giving out my id/pswd.

Yeah unfortunately initiating following other users isn’t possible in the apps, the website has a lot more features. But you can share your user profile with others and they can press follow via the website: https://www.inaturalist.org/users/lance72

It’s definitely a common question! Surprisingly I’m not seeing an open request for this feature for the apps (am I overlooking it @forum_moderators?). You could consider submitting one at #feature-requests.

I don’t think there’s an open request to make it possible to use the app to follow people. But I’m also not sure how useful it would be. At least in the Android app, the “Following” tab only shows observations you’re following, not content from users that you follow.

If you log in to your account in a browser and navigate to your observations page, you can copy the url and give that to your friends. It’s not mobile-friendly but it shows all your observations, like this:

for people who get email updates for observations by people they follow, it would be pretty useful

I mean useful in the context of staying within the app.
