Sometimes country names are posted as names, sometimes as 2-letter abbreviations. I keep getting tripped up by the abbreviation CA, intended to mean Canada but often interpreted by me as California. I had no idea MO can mean Macao; I interpreted it as Missouri. Mostly this just leads to temporary confusion, but I have occasionally put the wrong name on something. Can / would you please avoid the 2-letter abbreviations?

It’s worse than I thought! CA really is used for both Canada and California on iNaturalist. Beside the little map that comes up with the observations to show where they are.
