Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.): I was told by other users via another query in this forum that I should be able to select observations from among those not already in my traditional project by following the link “Add From Your Observations,” however, that link is missing

Step 1: Login to iNat, click on Projects>“My Yard Survey”

Step 2: Look for link to “Add From Your Observations” (not there)

Step 3: Stare blankly at screen and (lightbulb), submit bug report

My understanding is that the “Add from Your Observations” link is not available for projects where the settings only allow curators to add observations.

I don’t know whether that is intentional or not – non-curators wouldn’t have a use for that link, but it seems reasonable that a curator might want to find their own observations to add.

At any rate, the link would have gone to https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/becksnyc?not_in_project=my-yard-survey&place_id[]=2780&verifiable=any.

As above, plus I’ll add that curators have access to the “find suitable observations” link as well, which just isn’t filtered to your own observations. Easy enough to add your username as a filter to either the project (so that it does become part of the curators “find suitable observations” filtering, or on a case by case basis through the filters edit box once there…
