I use the app to upload observations and identifying and almost never use the app except for following people, seeing my favourite observations and followers and checking other people’s profiles, but it’s uncomfortable to me and I would like these tools to be on the App.
You posted this in the #forum-feedback section, which is a place for discussing the iNaturalist Forum, not iNaturalist, so I moved it to #general.
The #feature-requests section is for making requests for new or different functionality. There are a few existing feature requests for some of the functionality you described, such as this one: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/add-follow-option-to-users-in-the-app/31169
But right now iNaturalist is rewriting and redesigning a new app, so there won’t be any new features added to the current apps. I will say that viewing other users’ profiles should be available in the new app, but I can’t speak on the other features you brought up.
