My mouse-wheel-click on the “compare” button no longer opens the identotron - has this been disabled?
I had to google what an identotron is, but found the solution posted 2019 on the forum:
“You used to be able to get to the Ident-o-tron from clicking Compare on an observation page (if I’m remembering correctly). Now, if you right-click Compare and open in new window, you’ll get to it.”
That method of getting to the Identotron was removed, so it’s not a bug.
But it generated a URL that I could send to others. The current compare button does not allow a specific taxon place to be shared with other users, making it difficult to share a precise comparison.
