Artist knew the difference between male and female plumages in American Robins and didn’t feel the need to over-explain that. I’d say that counts.

Homo sapiens for both, but I assume we can ignore those!
I still love The Far Side. There are way too many good ones to pick a favorite.
Hey I live in the same city as this guy. I love False Knees.
Which species(s) are involved here?
Liv’s Tails from the Field is really relatable. Also I’ve done field work with the artist.
Thanks! Love this one: http://falseknees.com/302.html
I like to use this one as my final “Questions?” slide when I give presentations, another excellent contribution from Rosemary Mosco/Bird and Moon. I also recommend her book, Birding Is My Favorite Video Game
I have this one on the wall in my office:
Man, how great is Rosemary Mosco?
true.
(won’t let me post this without 10 characters)
lol, I went to reply “trueeeeee!”
and it told me it didn’t seem to be a complete sentence!
In the context of all the threads about location accuracy, I thought this comic might be enjoyed in the forum.
and iNat seems to be pointing at Waldo on the page.

He’s back. After a 24 year hiatus, Gary Larson has returned, with a web presence of the Far Side.
# All in the Phylum, comic collection
Way back in the last century, when I was studying biology, the Far Side was one of the favourite pre digital shares among classmates.
Article that brought me to that web site: The Far Side comic makes a beautifully weird return
This one is pretty funny. This is the comic called Shaaark! It is one of my favorites and is pretty silly. This one is one of the funniest. I think these come out of Australia. The author is named Phil and he pokes fun at our antics but in a shark’s world. This one is pretty silly.
