I entered the 2022 Audubon Photography awards with these 3 photos:



I wasn’t a winner or a finalist (not surprisingly, considering the huge amount of submissions) but I think I at least had a chance. I plan to enter next year’s contest too.

Oh, wow, I really like those! I am sorry to be uninformed, but what specific types of birds are those, other than photogenic, subtype extremely?

Thank you! The first photo is 3 female Mallard ducks (Anas platyrhynchos), the second is a Chestnut-backed Chickadee (Poecile rufescens), and the third is an unusual-looking American Robin (Turdus migratorius).

I enter so many competitions that I lost count lol
I haven’t won any but was a finalist in the Arrowtown photo competition with -lesser red ploe
