Description of problem:
The name Trillium grandiflorum f. roseum was inactivated on May 12, 2023 (see history and background). However, there are 32 observations with an active ID of Trillium grandiflorum f. roseum. It turns out that any ID suggested by @ddennism was not inactivated. Since he is a curator, that may have something to do with it.

Why does it make it suspect?

I think that user has opted out of automatic taxon changes, so I believe the system is working as intended. Whether or not you think that functionality is a good one is a separate issue.

Apparently @ddennism has taxon changes turned off (see flag). I didn’t know that was an option. In any case, it explains what I’m seeing.

That was a poor choice of words on my part. I was trying to guess the source of the “bug”.
