Obs with photos found in search for obs without media

I’ve noticed while tweaking identify URLs to show casual observations without media to mark them reviewed that every now and then the results will include observations with media that technically should show up as Needs ID, not casual.

Platform (Android, iOS, Website): Website

Browser, if a website issue (Firefox, Chrome, etc) : Firefox

URLs (aka web addresses) of any relevant observations or pages: Example search URL: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?quality_grade=casual&page=2&per_page=200&place_id=42&sounds=false&photos=false&captive=false
Example observation found: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/238870363

Screenshots of what you are seeing (instructions for taking a screenshot on computers and mobile devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org/):
Occasionally observations with photos will show up among all the obs without media:
NoMediaSearch01
When clicking through on these observations, they are “casual” but all DQA items check out fine:

It will even claim that a confirming ID will put it into RG:

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: Go to Identify, choose filters for casual & has sounds & has photos. Tweak the URL to set sounds=false and photos=false. (I also set per_page=200 to look through as many obs as possible per page.)

Step 2: Browse through the resulting pages of “blank” observations and see the occasional observation with pictures popping up among them.

Step 3: Click on the observation and notice these are casual for no good reason. Adding a confirming ID will indeed kick them out of casual straight into RG. Another way to get these “unstuck” is to vote on a DQA item and reverse the vote and the quality grade will change to Needs ID. Based on this, I’m guessing this is some sort of indexing issue.

I added an ID, then withdrew - that also works to force a re-index.

Sounds like these were not indexed correctly. Unless there’s a clear pattern, it’s probably just a glitch that happens sometimes.
