Hello from 2026! This is still happening for me as well and I would like to not have it shown as the old username reflects my old legal name. Has there been any progress in figuring this out?

The issue was marked as completed in Jan 2025, so they thought they fixed it. I guess the good news is that the page is pretty obscure so probably not a lot of people will notice.

I just made a bug report for this.

Actually nevermind. That is part of the list’s description and you can edit it out. It’s not something that would be affected by a username change as it’s just a text field that was created when you first joined iNat and not tied directly to the username on file. So I don’t believe it’s a bug. Go…
