In reviewing some records in a project in which I’m a curator, I’ve found an entry for a bird with two supporting audio files. One of these files is correctly identified, but the other is clearly a different species. Is there a way to correct this?
Only the observer can edit their observation - you can leave a comment letting them know what the issue is and how to fix it. If they are unresponsive, I used to ID to the taxon that both species were in (e.g. “birds”) but now I just ID it as “Life” and mark it as not needing further community identification in the Data Quality Assessment section. https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/help#manytaxaperobs
