This continues to confuse me. I simply don’t understand why iNaturalist cannot fix this problem. A large number of my observations are made on the west side of Tommy Thompson Park (ie. the area in limbo in the map shown above). I know of several other people’s observations which are likewise excluded from a Toronto search. The red outline indicates the Toronto boundary but as can be seen it is out by hundreds of metres. It seems the only way I can get my observations included in any search using the Toronto boundary is to place those observations 100m to the East of the actual locations. ie. by lying!
What’s the URL of this page? There are multiple places on iNat with “Toronto” in them.
