Opening sentence: a movie synopsis from the Naturalist AI POV

Remember how wonderfully ridiculous sounding the AI synopsis midway though this thread was? No? OK, no worries, I’ll go grab it.

I still chuckle about that from time to time when I spot one of the characters being toted about by a child here (a.k.a. “in the wild”).

Then today:

Your challenge, should you choose to accept: Pick a movie, any movie, and write the opening sentence from the Naturalist AI POV.

Moana: a movie detailing the effects of removing natural resources such as te-fiti’s heart, and the effects of oil spills on coastal islands. It also shows adaptions of aquatic wildlife, such as a large coconut crab (Birgus latro) evolving to attract prey by attaching SHINY objects to it’s shell, and tiny spiky seafaring species called the ‘Kakamora’ by natives using coconuts as armour and crude chalk to draw aposematic coloring on themselves to deter predators.

Alien: A movie about (put’s on best david attenborough impression) : 'The fascinating adaptations of an extraterrestrial species known as the xenomorph. This creature lives in ant like colonies, with workers, larva and a queen. The movie explores the creature’s semi parasitic life cycle, interesting parts of their anatomy (like the pharyngeal jaws and the acidic substances secreted as a self defense tactic similar to that of a bombadier beetle) and the hunting methods used by it.
