Overlapping text on certain projects

Please fill out the following sections to the best of your ability, it will help us investigate bugs if we have this information at the outset. Screenshots are especially helpful, so please provide those if you can.

Platform (Android, iOS, Website): website

App version number, if a mobile app issue (shown under Settings or About):

Browser, if a website issue (Firefox, Chrome, etc) : Firefox Version 137.0 (64-bit)

URLs (aka web addresses) of any relevant observations or pages: See next section

Screenshots of what you are seeing (instructions for taking a screenshot on computers and mobile devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org/):

Here are some screenshots, and the projects they come from:

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: The text “Project Members Only” and the link to the Project Journal are on top of each other in certain projects. I’ve been seeing this for a while, and finally decided to do a bug report - then had to go looking for a few examples. It seems that the project has to be a Members Only collection project, of which I am not a member, to see the overlapping text.

I’ve made a github issue: https://github.com/inaturalist/inaturalist/issues/4499

I’ve seen the same both before and after I joined the InverteFest April 2025 project. I’m running Edge Version 135.0.3179.54 (Official build) (64-bit) under Windows 11 Pro 24H2.

This has been fixed.
