Photos stuck in "Processing" mode

Known bug, I think. The only way I’ve found to fix this is to reupload the image into the observation’s edit page.

Dang, that’s a pain. I have a whole bunch and now have to figure out which they were as the sets start and stop.
@kueda is this true?

I guess it’s a known bug in that we know it happens very rarely, but not in the sense that we know enough about it to fix it. For that to happen someone needs to provide us with a list of steps we can follow to reproduce the problem.

@hydrocycler, yes, the only fix at present is to re-add photos to those obs, or delete the obs and make new ones.

Also seeing for a series of observations from this user: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/56405458

There isn’t anything we can do about photos that show “processing”, so posting examples without telling us exactly how the photos were added to iNaturalist doesn’t really help us investigate the issue.

Maybe it is part of the problem. Normally the observation tells you it has been uploaded by the Android app but this one does not…
