I just noticed yesterday that the maps now show state and province political boundaries for longer when zooming out. Have I just never noticed this before or is it new?

How do you get sat view? Is that on the explore tab or something else?

You can access satellite view for any maps on any part of iNat, should always be an option for you in the top corner

Found it! I never clicked on that icon before so I didn’t even realize the option was there. Thanks!

Yes, exactly. I like it! I suppose it’s a change on Google itself, so not exactly a fit for the forum, but I thought others might appreciate it.
