I have a few observations – mostly mollusks – where I wrote out my keying steps. Unfortunately, this does not display correctly, although the system still shows my original entry when in “edit” mode.
Here is the comment in “edit” mode, with the correct key numbers:
Notice that each number is the one referenced in the previous key step.
Now, when I “save comment,” this is what shows:
The system changed my numbers corresponding to the key into sequential numbers. This is, of course, incorrect, and would create difficulty for someone trying to follow the key to verify my ID. Is there a workaround that will let me display the numbers the way I typed them?
