Platform : Website
Browser, if a website issue (Firefox, Chrome, etc) : Edge 130.0.2849.68, FF 132.0, Brave 1.71.121 (all on Win 10)
URLs (aka web addresses) of any relevant observations or pages: Identify · iNaturalist, fourth obs for me (red Uropygid) but the position might change if people identify observations that come before (and it excludes observations that I’ve marked as reviewed, idk. if one can selectively browse for observations unreviewed by somebody else).
Therefore maybe (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?reviewed=any&page=76&iconic_taxa=Arachnida&order=asc&photos=true&lrank=class) is better for reproducing the error (it has reviewed=any, so it doesn’t depend on me, the current page number is 76 and the animal is the 19th there but that might change as well).
Description:
The observation itself is (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/219117059) and can be opened as such and seems to look fine. If one scrolls down, the whole page blanks out, Ctrl-r restores it. Reducing the fontsize using Ctrl-minus also causes it to become white.
If one clicks on the image in the ID page in order to ID it, the usual identify overlay appears for a fraction of a second, then the whole page turns white as well. After that, using Ctrl-r one can restore the table of obs in ID mode.
I haven’t seen this behavior yet in other cases.
