Bumping this old thread - any progress on making it easier for curators to find inactive taxa? I added a duplicate of an inactive taxon recently, because it didn’t show up in a search. Only on finding this thread did I work out how to search for inactive taxa, at which point I had to delete the duplicate I had unwittingly created.
