Selecting ID in dropdown on Identify is offset to another ID below it (iPadOS / Web)

Browser, if a website issue: Safari, iPadOS

Description of problem:

Step 1: On Identify page, I start ID’ing observations

Step 2: Typing my ID before selecting from dropdown, selecting the correct ID ends up using the 3rd or 4th ID in dropdown.

Step 3: After the incorrect ID is selected, I start by retyping the ID and it selects the correct ID. The problem repeats for each observation.

How are you doing the selecting? I find this happens if I use my touch screen, but not when I use the mouse. Using the touch screen seems to actually select whichever option is lying over the “Save” button, rather than the option I actually touched. (I’m using a Windows PC, not an iPad, so may be a different issue.)

I also had a discussion with them about it somewhere in a comment on an observation some years back.
