I was added as an admin to this collection project. However, the project does not appear under the “Projects You Admin” list on my Your Projects page. Something similar was mentioned in 2019 and this post suggests it’s a difference between traditional and collection/umbrella projects. However, my “Projects You Admin” list currently shows all three types: traditional, collection, and umbrella projects (notably, they are all projects that I created).
Technically not a bug, but stems from a problem we need to fix. The issue is that “admin” has a different definition for traditional and collection/umbrella projects.
A traditional project’s “admin” is equivalent to a collection project’s “owner”.
A traditional project’s “manager” is equivalent to a collection project’s “owner”.
The “Projects you admin” is using “admin” only in the traditional project sense (“owner” for collection/umbrella project).
I think we should use “owner” as the term for the one account that can delete a project (for both traditional and collection/umbrella projects), and “manager” for collection/umbrella project “admin” roles. But whatever terms, they should be consistent.
