Subspecies are acting like disagreeing IDs (When adding ID to Wild Ginger)

Description of problem:

Step 1:

I added an ID to *Asarum canadense* (I was IDing this due to taxon updates).

Step 2:

The ID is treated as disagreeing.

Step 3:

The taxon is moved to the complex

I just updated my ID, but that should be of no importance.

There is a split in progress with that species and to avoid loosing subspecies in the split there was a little rearranging done temporarily. See this flag https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/603109
