Summary display for Observation fields

Observation fields can contain a wealth of information, but extracting or summarizing it is a pain. The field view does not even tell one how many times the field has been used.

What I would like is a summary pie chart of the proportional use of the alternatives in a field with multiple values.
For instance in https://www.inaturalist.org/observation_fields/1437 - what is the proportion of the fields?:

  • None Recorded ! * Tracks ! * Scat !* Remains ! * Call/Song ! * Evidence of Feeding ! etc.

Or for this project: https://www.inaturalist.org/observation_fields/7498
I would like to see the breakdown of habitats (proportional use) for any taxon.

This is something we can do, but as observation fields aren’t high priority I can’t promise it would happen soon. But I’ll make an issue.

I’m not sure this is something we can do easily. What you’d like to do is, say, look up Plants with this observation field and see how many were marked fynbos, grassveld, etc?

It would be neat to be able to see how many taxa i have found per natural community (tracked in a field) but it would also be nice to be able to do that in reverse and see how many natural communities i have found that taxa in, by number of observations.

I like this. Would vote but I’ve run out of votes :-(
