Suspended user’s observations are suspended as well

I was browsing the photo gallery for Remartinia secreta (https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/308332-Remartinia-secreta/browse_photos). I clicked on the last photo in the gallery (when sorting by faves) and the “user has been suspended” screen showed up. The observation link (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/4237901) is still there, just nothing is visible. I was wondering if there is a way to keep observations visible when a user is suspended. R. secreta only has 6 (now 5) observations, so each record could have important information.

I’m not quite sure what the issue is - I can access both links you posted and see all the content I would expect. I don’t see the “This user was suspended page.” It may be something to do with the mobile OS or browser that you are using which is why it is important to include that requested info in the template when submitting a bug report.

don’t forget that you’re a site curator.

that said, i don’t think there’s a bug here. this behavior seems to reflect intentional choices about how to display different kinds of data.

I also only see a blank screen saying this user was suspended. On Win 11 Chrome.

For some reason, the user was auto-flagged as spam and suspended by iNaturalist in 2016. The user was unsuspended, but no one marked them as a non-spammer. I marked them as a non-spammer so the content should be visible now.
