I just learned about using the Taxonomy tab under Taxa Info.
In general and specifically in this case, it would be helpful to have acronyms unpacked.
It would be one less thing to Google for an explanation.
In this case, under Taxon Schemes, does it make sense to list them as, for example:
Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF)
or perhaps, since I’m guessing for people in the know, the acronym is common usage,
GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility).
