Not sure if this is a bug, or user error, or I’m just too impatient.
A year ago, I drafted a bunch of taxon changes to Campanuloideae species in North America. When I committed them one was left out.
Campanula aparinoides → Palustricodon aparinoides
Either I overlooked it or thought I needed to recheck something. Someone kindly brought this to my attention and so this morning I checked it over, analyzed the unintended disagreements (“Estimate: 0”) and clicked the Commit button. The progress indicator spun for a second and then I got a page with the “Sorry, that doesn’t exist!” search mole. Navigating back to the taxon change, the option to Commit is still available, but the input taxon is now inactive.
I’ve tried to Commit a couple more times with the same results. I am hesitant to reactivate the original taxon as maybe the process is just moving slowly. But it rather looks like it is broken and I’m not sure how to fix it.
Update: I reactivated the input taxon and tried to commit the change again, with the same result (input taxon inactivated, but taxon change not showing as committed). So, I have again reactivated the taxon while I await suggestions.
