I’ve noticed that some taxon pages have images shown in a grid like this:
Whereas other taxon images look like this:
How is this option added? It would make the taxa look a lot better, and if it’s something we can do without staff, that would be awesome.

Can you please include URLs of these pages so we know exactly which pages these images come from?

It depends on amount of photographs. When you delete enough of them it becomes like this:
That’s 8 photos, initially 12.

I believe species get a single photo and higher ranks show the tiled composite?

The tiled one comes from Syrphidae , but it looks like someone deleted several of the images there, making it no longer tiled.
The second image comes from Eristalinae .

Interesting, I’ve tried this in the past, but it didn’t make the others tiled. I’ve made this the post solution, hopefully this can help others in the future.

No longer an issue, but what is an issue is that even when I add 12 images, only 11 of them show, and the last is blocked under the “View More” button.
