Desktop, Chrome: This is an observation I have added to a traditional project as viewed in Identify mode. I used to see a gear icon to the right of the project name on this tab that allowed me to remove observations from the project directly through Identify mode (as long as I was the one who initially added the observation to the project).
Now, the gear icon is missing regardless of whether or not I was the user who added the observation.
Is the gear still present when you view the observation page itself?
Can you post a link to the observation the screenshot is of?
I can replicate for observations that are not my own. I honestly don’t remember if the gear icon used to be present here for those observations before we switched to API v2 on the Identify page a few months ago. Yes, the gear is present in the actual observation page, and has the same dropdown options of "“Remove from project”, “Edit Your Settings For This Project”, and “Edit Your Global Project Settings” that I was previously able to see in Identify mode for observations I added to projects.

It was really useful for me when it was there; I used to regularly go through this traditional project to remove observations that could be archived. I hadn’t realized there was an API change in the meantime.
