Unobscure introduced threatened species

I was looking at White-winged Parakeet (Brotogeris versicolorus) records just now, and I noticed that all the Florida records are locality-obscured because the species as a whole is threatened. That seems a bit silly, given that they’re introduced exotics in Florida. Perhaps some kind of distinction could be made to allow localities outside a species’ native range to not be obscured?

It’s not clear to me if the “hack” is the officially suggested course of action for this problem, or if the dev team might be open to changing how things work if there is community support.

I will also link to this related discussion about subspecies inheritance of conservation status.
