As the title says, when user A tags user B in user A observation, User B will receive a notification that says User A mentioned you in an observation when viewing this notification update on the home screen it will incorrectly says that user A added a comment, when it was a text input into the observation notes.
Honestly: Untill now, i wasn’t sure if tagging in notes would do something at all.
I would assume it is intended because I am not aware of any other existing notification that could be displayed instead. I can imagine it was a workaround to enabled the notification in the first place. Maybe this would do better as a feature request (adding new notifications)

Yes, as long as it does not say added example_user added a comment because that is inaccurate. example_user added a observation note might be more applicable. Since you can still receive a notification if a user edits their observation to mention you at a time other than uploading said observation
