I have a friend who is a girl scout leader, she just created a project on iNaturalist and was wondering how her girls could join the project. I said they have to make their own accounts.
But I wonder could they use seek instead to add observations to the project without having an iNaturalist account??
No, in order to send observations from Seek over to iNaturalist, they will need an iNaturalist account. Otherwise, the observations just stay on their phone (often people do this intentionally, for privacy purposes).
I’d recommend you/your friend try it out in Seek to see the workflow.

Note that children under 13 cannot make their own account wthout their parent/guardian’s permission, which needs to be done via this method: https://www.inaturalist.org/user_parents/new
