One of my favorite things about inatting is finding something new! So here I ask what is your favorite species you’ve seen that was new to you this week? Personally mine has to be either the Phantom Orchids I found, or the aphids I found on them! I want this to be a fun thread of everyone’s exciting…

I have 2 lifers of recent time. One Memorial Weekend in Valdez, Alaska, a Hoary Marmot which again in Valdez for the 4th me 2nd siting. And more recent a dragonfly, American Emerald. [IMG_9972] [IMG_0736]

That’s got to be the cutest jumping spider I ever caught on camera, I mean look at that glossy butt. [IMG_6835] Meet Habronattus decorus
